The Renfrew Center of Boston specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and related mental illnesses. Programming consists of a comprehensive range of services including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.

Parking can be found near the The Renfrew Center of Boston at 925 Commonwealth Avenue (next to the Agganis Athletic Arena), Boston, MA 02215. Once parked, please take the east elevators from the garage which will be the closest entrance to The Renfrew Center of Boston. Public transportation is available through the Green B Line and exiting at the Boston University West stop. The Renfrew Center of Boston entrance is at the rear of 870 Commonwealth Avenue.


Meet Our Clinical Leaders:

Lori Ciotti, LICSW, is the Regional Assistant Vice President of Operations for The Renfrew Centers. She received her Bachelor's degree in English from Tufts University and her Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons College. Ms. Ciotti is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has extensive corporate marketing and business experience, including founding and managing her own company. Prior to opening Renfrew’s Massachusetts site in 2014, she was the Corporate Clinic Director for a multi-site mental health facility in the Boston area.

Kristen Batchelor, LICSW, is the Site Director at The Renfrew Center of Boston. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Westfield State College and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston College School of Social Work. Prior to joining Renfrew, Ms. Batchelor served as the Director of an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in the greater Boston area. She has worked in a variety of settings with different patient populations, including clients with co-morbid trauma histories, depression, anxiety, and self-injurious behavior. Ms. Batchelor is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, Massachusetts Chapter.

Angela Kaloudis, LMHC, NCC, is Team Leader at The Renfrew Center of Boston. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of Rhode Island and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Renfrew, Ms. Kaloudis served as an Outpatient Therapist at Lahey Health Behavioral Services in Beverly, MA. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and trauma; and is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and the Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA).

Roni Levy, MA, is Team Leader and Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center of Boston where she spearheads the Substance Use track, runs a weekly Relational Process Group and leads the outpatient Aftercare Group. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Professional Psychology Track, from Lesley University and is currently working towards her LMHC credential. Ms. Levy has extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders, working in all levels of care. More specifically, she has worked with children and adolescents on inpatient psychiatric units and with students transitioning back to school.

The Renfrew Center of Boston offers the following groups:

Young Adult Aftercare Group 
This group 
is for adolescent girls and young adult women who are alumni of Renfrew’s higher levels of care and who are working toward recovery from anorexia, bulimia or disordered eating patterns involving binge eating or restricting. Led by a licensed clinician, the group provides a safe atmosphere where group members will explore eating disorder triggers as well as issues concerning body image, relationships, work, and school. Members of the group are required to be followed by an outpatient therapist in order to participate.

This group is for patients who do not require a higher level of care such as Day Treatment or IOP.

Date: Meets on Monday Evenings 
Time: 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Location: The Renfrew Center of Boston

Thirty Something and Beyond Aftercare Group
This group 
is for women who are alumni of Renfrew’s higher levels of care and who are working toward recovery from anorexia, bulimia or disordered eating patterns involving binge eating or restricting. Led by a licensed clinician, the group provides a safe atmosphere where group members will explore eating disorder triggers as well as issues concerning body image, relationships, work, and other midlife challenges. Members of the group are required to be followed by an outpatient therapist in order to participate.

This group is for patients who do not require a higher level of care such as Day Treatment or IOP.

Date: Meets on Wednesday Evenings 
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Location: The Renfrew Center of Boston

Support Persons Community Group
Those who are impacted by a loved one with an eating disorder - siblings, parents, spouses, friends, partners, significant others, or caretakers - often need additional support during the treatment process. This group is offered bi-weekly to anyone viewed as a Support Person.

Attendees receive guidance from clinical staff and each other, while learning how to effectively communicate with their loved one and help them move forward in their recovery. Participants also discuss The Renfrew Center Treatment Model for Eating Disorders® and gain an understanding of how it serves as the foundation for their loved one’s treatment.
