Renfrew is dedicated to providing coverage to as many patients seeking treatment as possible, and we are continuously adding new insurance contracts. With the addition of Highmark Blue Cross in the Pittsburgh area, we will now be able to provide care to more adolescent girls and women seeking treatment for eating disorders.

Accepting more than 430 insurance plans across the country, The Renfrew Center has contracts with almost every managed care company for all levels of treatment and is a preferred provider for many insurance companies.

The Renfrew Center of Pittsburgh now offers an Outpatient Group.

Eating Disorders Group

The Eating Disorders Group is for adolescent girls and women of all ages who have struggled with disordered eating. Led by an experienced therapist, the group actively engages participants with each other to explore and understand the emotional and relational functions of their disordered eating and develop strategies to connect to emotions, improve communication and achieve recovery-focused goals.

Ideal for those seeking extra support during their recovery. Group members are required to be followed by an outpatient therapist in order to participate.
