The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey specializes in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and related mental illnesses. Programming consists of a comprehensive range of services including day treatment, intensive outpatient and group therapy.
The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey is located at 15000 Midlantic Drive – Suite 101 in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The building is approximately 2 miles west of I-295 on Route 38 at the intersection of Route 38 and Midlantic Drive and is accessible from most major highways. Ample parking is available directly in front of the building. The office is situated on the first floor and is handicap accessible. Public transportation is available within walking distance to and from the site.
Meet Our Clinical Leaders:
Holly Grishkat, PhD, is the Regional Assistant Vice President and Director of Quality Management. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Allegheny College, her Doctoral degree in Experimental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College and she re-specialized in Clinical Psychology at Widener University. Dr. Grishkat has been with The Renfrew Center for 14 years in both clinical and administrative roles, providing direct patient care and leadership to frontline staff. She has led start-up operations for The Renfrew Centers of Baltimore, MD; Mount Laurel, NJ; Pittsburgh, PA and Radnor, PA. Most recently, Dr. Grishkat has taken on direction of quality management at The Renfrew Center. Dr. Grishkat is a member of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
Amanda J. Zacharias, MS, LPC, ACS, is the Site Director at The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to joining Renfrew, Ms. Zacharias served as the Director of Clinical Services at South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc., where she provided clinical and administrative oversight of the Adult Partial Care Program, Adult and Child Outpatient Programs, and Intensive Outpatient Program. She has extensive experience in treating individuals presenting with substance use and co-occurring disorders, as well as the in the assessment and treatment of suicidal ideation/at-risk behaviors.
The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey offers an Eating Disorders Group.
The Eating Disorders Group is for adolescent girls and women of all ages who have struggled with disordered eating. Led by an experienced therapist, the group actively engages participants with each other to explore and understand the emotional and relational functions of their disordered eating and develop strategies to connect to emotions, improve communication, and achieve recovery-focused goals.

The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey offers College Programming during DTP and IOP.
College can be a challenging transition for most students, particularly for those with an eating disorder. Whether you are a freshman or a senior, a new environment often brings with it complex and difficult paths to navigate. Academics, social situations and new levels of independence are exciting and yet, at times, stressful.
For college-aged students who choose to participate, The Renfrew Center of Southern New Jersey has integrated special programming into both its Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient levels of care to address the many challenges facing college students.
