Annual Alumni Reunion: Falling Forward Into Recovery

Moving in a forward direction is key to recovery, no matter how rapid or slow the pace of that movement might be. This year’s reunion theme, Falling Forward Into Recovery, reflects that belief. Like any undertaking, the road to recovery unfolds gradually and has phases that range from scary and overwhelming to calm and joyful. Join us for an enlightening day of workshops in which you will reconnect with fellow alumni and strengthen your journey as you move forward in recovery.

We invite you to bring one person to celebrate with you and fine-tune their skills for supporting your recovery.

Body Image Workshop

The Renfrew Center of Radnor invites the community to come out for a fun and inspirational night of self-care. Our focus for the evening will be on learning how to improve your body image by emphasizing the importance of authenticity and letting go of the need for perfection.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Explore some of the standards our society places upon both men and women and identify where you can start to let go of unrealistic expectations you may be holding for yourself.
  • Learn how to lead off with your authentic self in your relationships rather than attempting to portray perfection.
  • Join an open discussion as a way to start the process of making peace with your body through self-compassion and unapologetic living.

Facilitated by Amy Keller-Billotta, MA, LPC • Light refreshments will be served

Date: Tuesday, October 24th
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
